A major source of inspiration came from the Bible and prayer books. The semi-transparent pages and the warm colors used throughout the book reflect what a usual Bible would feel like. Similarly, the small personal size of the book evokes the same intimate feeling as a prayer book. A delicate book that must be carefully handled.
It is very common to see a Bible with a type of cover. However the size of the book made it difficult to create a cover. Instead, a leather pocket was created to protect the book. The orange string ties to the color of the font and the back cover.
